This course is to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to operate scissor lifts safely.

At the end of the course, participants will be proficient in selection of appropriate scissor lift, understanding legal obligation, performing continuous risk management, performing pre-start inspection of scissor lift, understand scissor lift operational requirements, perform proper shutdown procedures, understand common operational problems and be able to operate a scissor lift safely.

This comprehensive scissor lift course is designed to equip individuals with essential knowledge and practical skills for the safe operation of scissor lifts. By the end of this scissor lift training course, participants will gain proficiency in several critical areas.

These include selecting the right scissor lift for specific tasks, understanding legal obligations related to scissor lift operation, and mastering continuous risk management techniques.

Additionally, this scissor lift course covers thorough pre-start inspections, operational requirements of scissor lifts, and effective shutdown procedures.

Participants will also learn about common operational problems and acquire the capability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently.

This Operate Scissor Lift course will cover the following modules as required by the Ministry of Manpower-WSHC standards for scissor lift operators in Singapore

CE 1: Prepare to carry out scissor lift operations
CE 2 Carry out scissor lift operations
CE 3 Conduct post operation of scissor lift

Successful candidates will obtain the WSQ Certificate and a Competency Card

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
• Have a basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ES) level 3
• Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES level 3; and
• Be medically fit to work at height
