Aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge, ability and skills to plan, implement and review surveillance operations and systems in Security Command and Control Centres.

Understanding the relevant legal requirements relating to security surveillance operations

Security Command and Control Centres are becoming more important especially with the rise in security threats such as burglaries, terrorists attacks, cyber crimes and more.

A Security Command and Control Centres gives many industries the advantage of pre-emptive emergencies and provides easier access to resolve them.

The Security Command and Control Centre often deals with critical and life-threatening situations, which means personnels need to stay proactive and spread alerts and information to keep people safe in any type of scenario. With the proper equipment, the team will be able to swiftly and smoothly manage emergency situations.

Hence, it is necessary for all stakeholders in the security industry to possess the knowledge and abilities required to perform remote access surveillance functions using security software programmes and equipment in a Security Command and Control Centre.

This course is targeted at anyone whose job scope requires foundational knowledge and abilities related to Security Command and Control Centres. Learners are expected to have the following:

Is positive and motivated as this course will give them the knowledge and abilities required to understand Security Command and Control Centres as part of their job responsibilities.

Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Have effective communication and relationship management skills to work with people from all levels and areas within and outside an organisation

Have knowledge of the business, industry and sector in which the organisation operates.

Have “N” Level pass in English and Mathematics. Broadly equivalent to WPL Level 5 and WPN – Intermediate Level.
