Specifically, learners will be able to:
• LO1. Explain the relevance of ISO19650 and Singapore BIM Guide to BIM modelling.
• LO2. Create toposurface, subregion and building pad for preparation of site plan.
• LO3. Create massing and update-to-face for architectural conceptual design.
• LO4. Create architectural elements such as roof, walls and floors by face for efficient architectural conceptual design.
• LO5. Create and modify architectural elements such as columns, walls, floors, curtain walls, ceiling and roof.
• LO6. Create and modify circulation elements such as stairs, stair openings, railings and ramps.
• LO7. Place and manipulate architecture elements to create architectural designs.
• LO8. Place and manipulate circulation elements to create architectural designs.
• LO9. Apply numerical calculation and spatial visualisation to create parametric family.
Projects-based BIM Revit Architecture Modelling Basic course will impart the necessary knowledge and skills for aspiring and existing BIM Modellers (Digital Delivery Specialists) and Architects to effectively use different modelling features and tools to create architectural elements in Revit. Learners will also explore the wide array of fundamental modelling features and strategies for modelling architectural building elements. By the end of the course, learners will be able to use Revit to create basic three-dimensional models for architectural equipment, components and systems.
Learners should preferably have/possess:
• At least a diploma in architecture, green building and sustainability, mechanical and electrical, green building & sustainability, mechatronics civil, structural engineering, aerospace engineering, landscape architecture, interior design, sustainable urban design and engineering, or any built-environment related course.
• English language proficiency at GCE ‘O’ level of C6 and above, or WSQ Workplace Literacy skills of Level 6 and above.
• Possess basic information and communication technology (ICT) skills.

*Learners who do not qualify in terms of education but have the relevant working experience will be admitted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the Management Representative (MR).
