This course equips participants with essential skills at intermediate level on BIM structure modelling using Autodesk Revit 2020. Participants can apply their skills in structure modelling which include, structural foundation, column, beam, and floor. Rebar placement for reinforcement concrete will also be covered in the course.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure. It enables great integration and collaboration among different building professionals of various disciplines. Currently, majority of the building plans have to be submitted in BIM format for regulatory approval. This course aims to develop BIM capability and capacity for companies and professionals particularly on BIM structure modelling to be ready for BIM implantation.
