The course equips participants with BIM software skills to extract data for costing, quantity taking-off and project management.

IDD builds on BIM and Virtual Design and Construction. BIM is the paradigm shift in Construction Methodologies and affecting the Built Environment (BE) Industry, where it emphasises on productivity and manipulation of Data. Manipulation of Data through Quantity taking off and BIM 4D are one of the methods. This course covers two BIM softwares, namely Autodesk REVIT and Exactal CostX, where participants are given hands-on sessions on the 2 unique environments to work seamlessly with the Contract, QS and Modelling Teams.

The participant shall be a graduate of any Singapore IHL in Architectural, Landscape Architectural, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and Quantity Surveying or related diploma, with prior CAD software knowledge. Applicants with other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
